About

Megan’s drive to follow her dreams put her on a path that required education under the tutelage of experienced professional equestrians.

There have been many influencers along the way in Megan’s career, but some key notes were working under multi-Olympic rider and coach Karen O’Connor and Pan American Silver medalist and Paralympic team coach Missy Ransehousen. Megan also continues her education riding with one of today’s leading international event riders, Boyd Martin.

Megan takes great pride in the versatility of her stable, from OTTB’s to Imports, she has successfully competed through the CCI*** level. From the beginning, Megan has always had a special place in her heart for OTTB’s and their ability to excel in their second careers.

Megan operates out of her farm, “Team Have At It” located in Richmond, Kentucky and is based in Ocala, Florida for the winter months.

“I’ve personally coached Megan for 2 years and I can tell you … she is very competitive in the upper levels.”

-Olympian, Boyd Martin

Richmond is home base for Megan

Megan, alongside of her husband, Trent Edwards, own a beautiful 90 acre farm in Richmond, Ky.
Adorned with rolling hills, creeks and studded with beautiful, mature trees, Megan and Trent’s farm is a favorite destination for the team.

You will often find Megan working the horses on the hills to build a strong horse and keep them in tip top shape. The farm also boasts a beautiful barn, a large 125 x 200 arena and a beautiful cross country course. Megan houses her full training horses at her farm in Richmond but also opens the farm up for her team to come out and enjoy. On any given day, you will find haul-ins for lessons, fitness work on the hills, gallop sets or just a fun trail ride with the team.

Trent, when not working at the Fire Station, is out on his tractor or working on a project or two. He takes great pride in keeping the farm looking its best, from the manicured arena to the perfectly mowed lanes throughout the property, Trent’s role at the farm is essential not to mention, he is always the first to greet everyone with a warm, welcoming smile.
